About me

my philosophy

Erica Digap Burson

Knowing the ins and outs of nutrition science is one thing. Being able to communicate it effectively with others is another.

My goal is simple: I educate people who desperately want to be healthy but find themselves stuck in cyclical bad habits. I want to help people make lasting changes in their life, not just temporary fixes.

My aims are to:

  • educate without being preachy
  • inspire without being insufferable
  • sell without being salesy

MY Vision

A world where people are happy, healthy, and well-informed.

My Mission

To increase the visibility of nutrition and wellness brands by writing witty, informative, and persuasive content that gets readers excited for more.

I have chosen to be happy because it is good for my health.

A Little about me

Long story short: healthy living is my thing.

After earning my BSc in Clinical Nutrition at the University of California, Davis and changing lives in the corporate nutrition world as a director and consultant for a couple of years, I decided it was time to make a difference on a larger scale.

I love writing about all things health: whether we’re talking about the best ways to improve your lifting game, the benefits of a mindfulness sesh in your daily routine, or whether or not you really need that supplement you keep hearing about on TikTok, I can go on and on. I do all the research so that you (and your readers) don’t need to get lost in the Google rabbit hole or stuck try to decipher the jargon in the recent studies.

When I’m not writing, you can find me traipsing through the emerald-green forests and rocky coastline of the beautiful North Coast of California, lifting heavy(ish) weights, dabbling in fiber art, or chasing after my pitbull, cat, and various reptiles.

my current health "ins": long early morning walks, standing desks, heavy leg days, less screen time
